As part of our mission to support responsible usage and governance of AI both in Australia and globally, we recently compiled a response to the Productivity Commission (PC) “Harnessing data and digital technology” inquiry interim report. Our response to the interim report reflects the many conversations we’ve been having with clients, which have shaped the feedback provided.
Overall, we agree with the concept that the government should take an outcomes-based approach to many of the issues covered in the report, in order to maximise the opportunities available, whilst putting sufficient safeguards in place for both individuals and businesses.
